Contributes -
Moroccan Rose
It feels old world: deep, powerful, almost spicy. Just when you think it might become too strong, it warms in a way that makes your heart melt. Your body somehow knows this rose, even if you have never been to Morocco. It has a powerful presence. It warms you and draws you in.

The Power of the Divine Blend
It took all four.
Divine began as something Claire made for herself. She was drawn to rose for qualities prized on skin for millennia, its resonance and its meaning. Her belief in what belonged in the blend came before what it cost. Four roses together felt complete. It stayed hers for years. People asked what she was doing with her skin and what she was wearing. “Divine” is how they described it. Unmistakably rose, with sultry depth. All three products carry this blend.
Divine is about the details making a whole. It came together over years of working with different oil suppliers, sometimes in quantities as small as five millilitres. Claire keeps the proportions private. What matters is what happens between them.
She blends by feel: adding, taking notes, letting the oils sit, then returning the next day to see what the composition still needs. She is listening for the point where no single rose dominates and the whole feels resolved.
For Claire, finding that balance is more than technical. She has always understood rose as both physical and energetic: a material long used on skin, a heart opener, and one she associates with an unusually high vibration. She connects that idea of resonance with 528 Hz, often referred to as the love or miracle frequency.
Beyond the roses.
Inside the formulation
By product
In the toner
Distilled water and aloe, with vitamin E. The rose composition in its lightest form, made to mist over the face, neck and décolletage.
In the serum
Organic evening primrose. Organic rosehip. Organic arnica. Like olive oil, carrier oils have grades. Claire chooses them with the same judgment she brings to the roses.
In the balm
Organic shea butter. Organic coconut cream. Organic castor oil. Claire emulsifies the balm, freezes and whips it, then repeats the process, so it can hold together without binding agents or preservatives.
Formulation
No added synthetic fragrance. No fillers. No preservatives. Vegan. Not tested on animals. Owner-tested.
Phthalate-free, paraben-free, silicone-free, PEG-free, sulfate-free / SLS-free / SLES-free, PFAS-free.
A closer look at sourcing
Claire works personally with small wholesalers and chooses the highest-quality materials she can source. She looks for distributors who test what they sell and can account for where it came from. The oils she sources range from Vancouver Island to Morocco. Natural materials have give: the air and water where they grow can change them from one batch to the next. She would stop making a product before lowering the quality she accepts.
Making what can’t be found.
Clarity Apothecary grew out of Claire Bond’s bodywork practice, Clarity Integrated Health, when clients began asking for the products she made and used in treatments. For more than 25 years, Claire has worked directly with bodies, skin and essential oils. That experience continues to shape the ingredients she chooses and the scents she composes.
The Divine Collection brings her rose composition to three facial products, each tested first on her own sensitive skin and made to order by hand in Tofino.
Claire's way of working
When she can’t find the quality she wants, she finds the maker. With scent and skincare, she is that maker. Hotels and spas commission her to create custom blends, developed much like her own: often begun late in the evening, left to sit, then revisited until complete.
Made in Tofino
Tofino is a remote, windswept place on the west coast of Vancouver Island, where nature shapes everyday life and work. What Claire makes carries some of that: a little bit of wildness mixed with a reverence for nature.
When you purchase the Complete Collection, you’ll receive a leather bag made by hand in Tofino, specifically for your order.
